I doubt that the 3M hangers would work! Fabric weighs a lot and the last thing you want is for the whole thing to fall during the father-bride dance!!!!

Also, I saw a bunch of questions about hanging fabric from tables. I help run a wedding venue in Birmingham. Why not just use large table linens and "toppers". Toppers come in a variety of colors and fabrics and add the drama and contrast you are looking for. Otherwise there are special types of table cloths you can purchase with velcro but not sure you wish to spend that kind of money.

hi! i will be doing the ceiling draping for a wedding reception coming up soon. the easy part is that in the middle of the dance floor their is a disco ball hanging so it will be easy to attach the fabric from their the only problem is that the hall does not allow for us to nail anything on the walls or anything like that, so attaching it to the other end is kind of complicated. do you think the 3M Adhesive wall hooks will do the trick or what to you recommend? Also should i cover the disco ball in fabric or just let it show?
