Tall flower arrangements

Most dream weddings include tall, lofty guest table arrangements, full of flowers, like the one below.

But, can you afford the heavy, silver stand, rental of which can start at $30 a piece, without even factoring in the flowers? How about all those lush lavender roses, the hydrangea, the tulips, the lisianthus, the dendrobium orchids? Yeah, that gets expensive. Maybe there are some ways to have the tall flower arrangement look, without the tall flower arrangement look price.

I hate that I don’t know the name of this shiny, iridescent green netting, but it comes in several colors and became popular over the past few years. I love that they used it inside the vase, along with some pink Gerber daisies. I also love that they used it at the bottom of the arrangement, to help fill it out.

I really love this arrangement. It’s simply a bunch of calla lilies, tied with a green ribbon, inside a glass vase. In fact, I bet you this could’ve been a bridesmaid bouquet and to help save costs, they made it double as a tall, elegant and simple arrangement.

This is so adorable, and so easy to replicate, although you’d need a lot of roses. I think about a dozen open roses are used here, in these three champagne-shaped vases, plus lit votive candles.

And….I saved the best for last. I adore this arrangement. I love the combination of purple and gold orchids. It’s so simple, but so awesome and so high impact, visually. And do I spy a few super long feathers coming out of the top? I’m not too sure about that detail, but I suppose to each their own.
