This is the most wonderful time of the year…..for bargain hunters planning a wedding. Holiday decor can easily do double duty as wedding decorations, and you can save so much if you know where to go.

For example, I found this candle holder at Marshall’s recently. The price tag says $19.99 right? Its better than the $50 you might pay for a flower arrangement with a candle set inside, and just as pretty. Plus, I really love decorations that incorporate lights.

I am usually the person to decorate my church for Christmas, and I only go to Big Lots for the decorations. But I’ve gone to Big Lots in the past for wedding decorations, with great success. For example, check out this mosaic globe we found for my friend Jinah’s wedding. These cost maybe $5 each.

And just perusing Big Lots’ website, I found a few other examples of decorations that could help dress up your wedding.

I consolidated it into one image, but you can find the harvest luminaries, the set of 3 metal candle holders or the summery hurricanes for less than $10 on Big Lots’ website. Of course, trying to find these items at an actual store might be a bit more dicey, but you can probably find other awesome items at a store that won’t be on the website.
